The East of Exe Mixed Bowls League is a mixed league with four rinks (fours) over 18 ends and is normally played on a Monday evening (6.15pm), but there is a little leeway in this. There must be at least one lady and man on each rink. Games are straight in with one point scored on the first two ends.

Clubs are drawn into two leagues A & B.

At present the leagues consists of the following clubs-(mileage from West End) Cullompton (8), Culm Vale(9), Chardstock(30), Hemyock(14), Uffculme(10), Tiverton Borough(1), Tiverton Park(1) , Ottery St Mary(21), Honiton(22), Feniton(21), Seaton(34).

All fairly local apart from perhaps Seaton and Chardstock, but remember we will only play an away game at each location once per season and we may not get drawn against Seaton for instance.

The committee has asked the secretary to canvass opinion to see if it is worth considering an entry next season. Once we have established if there is enough interest the committee will make a decision on whether to apply or not before the middle of August 2018.

This is just to give you all a little additional information about the league, I hope the above answers an queries you may have had, please let Joan know your thoughts as soon as possible, if you have not already done so.
