Green opening trial

The Management Committee have agreed that we open the green for roll ups, of course this is subject to the strict rules and restrictions put out by Bowls England and Bowls Devon. See below.

We hope those of you who decide to give it a go will stick to the rules and have an enjoyable time.

Initial Trial Sessions will be held on Tuesday 4th August and Friday 7th August 10.30 a.m. 2 hours and 2.00 p.m. 2 hours each day.

Cost will be £2.50 per session; no money will be collected but a record will be kept of those attending and payment can be made at a later date as requested by the Treasurer.

RULES AND RESTRICTIONS FOR USE OF GREEN

Rink Booking – Please contact Tony Sykes if you wish to book a space for a roll up – 07792372517.

Only those with a space booked and confirmed will be accepted, no visitors or spectators will be allowed into the club site.

Gate to remain locked at all times.

Tony or another appointed committee member will be in attendance to manage the green.

Please maintain the 2-metre social distancing at all times.

Limited number of 18 people allowed on the green at any session, with maximum of 6 people per rink.

Please change shoes on entry to the green.

No bowls or bags to be left on site.

Hand sanitizers have been installed at two positions outside – one next to the recycling bins and one at the equipment shed, please make use of these on arrival – other sanitizers are situated in the corridor and disabled toilet.

The Indoor facilities of the club remain closed including the changing rooms and kitchen, only the disabled toilet is accessible.

You must bring your own refreshments i.e. water etc.

Paper towels to be used after hand washing, these to be disposed of in the bags provided and removed from the club.

Please do not share set of bowls, or other equipment.

Mats and jacks to be sanitised before and after use.

No – scoreboards – pushers - 2m sticks or ditch markers to be used. No measuring.
