Presidents Day

The bowling on presidents day was a washout with heavy rain falling all day, so it was into the club house for an afternoon of fun.

Norman organised a number of horse races and Chris provided the questions for a light hearted quiz, both enjoyed by the 40 or so members who braved the elements and turned up.

There was also a serious side to the afternoon when President Ken Berry presented a cheque for £1036.00 to a representative from Diabetes UK our charity for 2018.

This was followed by a wonderful buffet, provided by Ken.

Such a shame to close the season on a wet note but after the summer we have had no one can complain.

We are all now looking forward to our winter social events.
